i am a caregiver to a person with dementia
needless to say
some days can be a challenge
and at the end of those days, i find myself drained
both physically & mentally
yesterday was one of those days
and my sweet daughter knew it was going to be one of those days
when i came home
sitting on my table was a vase of sunshine wrapped in ribbons of my favorite colors
and the sweetest card
she's a little bit of heaven that girl of ours

Oh Katie, I had no idea you had such a heavy mission in your life. You have such a sweet daughter, to know that you needed that special loving touch at the end of a trying day.
ReplyDeleteMuch love and big hugs...you will be in my prayers. xxoo
What a sweet and precious daughter - she is certainly a ray of sunshine :) And you definitely have a heavy load - will be praying for you :) Hugs!
ReplyDeletebig hugs to you, Katie. It takes such a loving and caring person to do what you do, but I know it has to be so draining. You have a very thoughtful daughter :)
ReplyDeleteSending you some extra strength hugs and ... extra strength? I'm glad to know you have support in such a sweet daughter. No doubt the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I could read your family's heart in that post.
